Attorney General’s Office Agreed to Dismiss

Dentist was arrested by the Department of Justice and charged with one count of Grand Theft (in excess of $50,000), one count of Presenting False Medi-Cal Claims, one count Receiving Unlawful Medi-Cal Remuneration, and once count of unlawful Rebated for Patient Referrals (capping).  Subsequent to a lengthy and exhaustive investigation by attorneys Dmitry Gurovich and Dmitry Y. Gurovich, the Attorney General’s Office agreed to dismiss the first 3 counts and settle the case for a plea to the Cappig charge without and jail/custody commitment. (San Fernando Superior Court)
